What happens when I show up?
When you first arrive, if you are brand new to firearms you will be assigned to the On-Boarding orientation class where you'll be familiarized with the standard training equipment used in the program. You will be given as much time and guidance as you need to before being assigned to a training group.
On-Boarding and Orientation
Start Training Immediately
If you are already familiar, you will be attached to a squad and will fall in with them to assemble the stages for the training day. As the evolutions begin you will be given safety and stage briefs and allowed to ask clarifying questions. You will train at your own pace, without any expectations or judgement from anyone.
The initial awkward feeling of being the new kid will pass after the second or third week, the safety guidelines will become second-nature, and you will start seeing your progress in the posted scores. You will feel like you are part of the community, even though you will be accepted from the first minute you arrive.
